The Serious Fraud Office said it seized nearly £1.2m from the owner of a £4.2m West London flat who has been implicated in a bribery scandal related securing contracts from state oil company Petrobras.

Flat owner, Brazilian national Julio Faerman, is suspected of having partly purchased the property with money from the Brazilian Operation Car Wash bribery scandal, the SFO said in a 12 November statement.
