The Serious Fraud Office has pledged to bolster its "brand and image" following a series of embarrassments for the agency tasked with investigating financial misconduct and other white-collar crime in the UK.
In its business plan for the coming year, published on 13 May, Lisa Osofsky, the director of the SFO and the UK’s most senior anti-corruption official, said it had been "a tough year for many" and that the agency would work to "build the SFO brand and image by confidently communicating what the SFO is and does".
