Société Générale's corporate and investment banking division has recruited a director from joint brokerage venture Lazard Natixis to lead a new team within its equity capital markets division.

Laurent Cassin, based in Paris, joined SocGen in July following three years as director of equity capital markets at Lazard Natixis. Cassin, who reports to Michel Cohen, global head of ECM, is head of a new, fourth team within the ECM division, which previously contained three teams, each consisting of three to four staff.
