SG Hambros pulls off Superdrug deal for Kruidvat

SG Hambros is advising Kruidvat Beheer on its £280m (€466m) acquisition of Superdrug, the UK high-street pharmacy chain, from Kingfisher, marking the first time that the bank has acted for Dutch retailer on a deal.

Sources close to the company said that SG has been working with the Dutch group for more than a year, advising on its strategy for expansion beyond the Netherlands.
