SG Corporate & Investment Banking has combined its debt origination teams and appointed Arnaud Achour, its head of corporate origination, to run the new group. It comes as the French bank tries to win more business from all types of issuers.

The strategic reshuffle has created an origination team at SG of 45 bankers in London, Paris, Frankfurt and Madrid that will focus on winning debt business from corporate and financial sector borrowers as well as public sector issuers including sovereigns and supranationals. SG previously had separate debt origination teams covering the three sectors.
