SG Asset Management, the fund management arm of Société Générale, has appointed Doris Wong as head of fund distribution in Hong Kong, with responsibility for building the firm's presence in Hong Kong, Taiwan and especially China.

Wong has previously worked at Fidelity Investments and Allianz Dresdner. In her new position she will report to Mahendran Nathan, managing director and regional head of business and marketing for the firm in Asia Pacific ex-Japan.
