Tim Shacklock, a partner at corporate finance boutique Gleacher Shacklock, has appeared in his first public deal discussions since joining the firm, working alongside his former colleagues from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

Shacklock has been advising BMI British Midland, the UK airline, on the aborted merger talks with Virgin Atlantic, part of Richard Branson's Virgin Group.
