Cardona Lloyd, the fund of hedge funds firm, has appointed John Shakeshaft, formerly a partner at Lazard, to lead its corporate finance practice.
Shakeshaft was one of six Lazard partners who were made redundant last July. Cardona Lloyd, founded by George Cardona, who served as a special adviser to the UK Treasury during the first Conservative government under Margaret Thatcher, manages market-neutral funds of hedge funds for high net worth investors and foundations.
