Shareholders throw weight behind Stork break-up

An overwhelming majority of shareholders in Stork, a Dutch engineering conglomerate, have voted in favour of a plan submitted by hedge funds Centaurus and Paulson to break up the company.

At an extraordinary general meeting held by the company yesterday, 86.5% of voting shareholders cast their votes in favour of the hedge funds' motion and 13.5% voted against.
