A woman in my office often makes lewd remarks at me but recently complained about a comment she received from my male colleague. I fear this is hypocritical but don't want to get involved. Any advice?
If you are being subject to lewd remarks that are making you feel uncomfortable, you should raise this with your employer as this conduct is unacceptable and this could amount to harassment under the Equality Act 2010. Even if the remarks do not make you feel uncomfortable, they could make your colleagues around you who overhear them feel uncomfortable. This is also unacceptable, so you should still raise the matter with your employer.
