Sibos, the annual conference for the financial industry which was this year scheduled for Boston, has been cancelled because of the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The conference will still take place from October 5 to 8, but the organisers – the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (Swift) – are now "exploring options" to hold it virtually.
