Sidley Austin plans to up its recent hiring in London and take advantage of “disruption” in the legal sector, the US law firm’s chair Yvette Ostolaza said.

Sidley confirmed the hires of private equity M&A partners Ramy Wahbeh and Kaisa Kuusk from rival US law firm Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison in London on 12 June, with Wahbeh joining the firm as a co-leader of its private equity practice.
