Fund managers have found signs of market recovery among the smallest quoted companies in the UK economy.

Gervais Williams, the head of the UK small-cap equities desk at Gartmore Investment Management, has seen two strong 'Buy signals' in the fledgling market made up of the 485 smallest companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.
