Swiss Investment Managers has named Melina Panagos as chief operating officer and head of compliance. Panagos joins with two decades of both operational and investment banking experience, having previously held senior positions at ANZ Investment Bank, ABN Amro Bank and Greek-listed OTE and Petzetakis. She will be responsible for operational and compliance control and risk management at the firm.

SIM has also brought in Kevin Ryan and Andrew Garai as non executive directors. Ryan is the founder of HedgeDirector, a provider of expert, independent directors to the hedge fund industry. Garai co-founded and acted as managing director of Trafalgar Capital Advisors, and brings three decades of experience with Dresdner Bank, Bear Stearns, LCF Edmond de Rothschild Securities and Fidelity Brokerage.
