Simmons & Simmons merger talks fall apart

Merger talks between law firms Simmons & Simmons and Watson Farley & Williams (WFW), which would have created a firm with almost 1,200 professionals, have collapsed.

The two UK-based firms decided by mutual agreement to call the deal off. The combined firm would have had revenues of over £200m (€315m).
