Simon Jeong, a Korean equities manager for Invesco, was the top-performing fund manager last week, according to data providers Financial Express - though he's less likely to repeat the feat this week, as the country's stock exchange slid 0.8% following news that North Korea has shelled an island belonging to the South.
Last week, Jeong's fund rose 3.25% in sterling terms between the start of play on Monday and close of play on Friday. Over the same time period South Korea's benchmark KOSPI index rose 2.7% in sterling terms.
