The well-known British businessman Sir Philip Green has been named in the UK Parliament as the individual at the centre of a #MeToo scandal that has been subject to a gagging order by British courts.

Lord Peter Hain, a Labour politician, said on Thursday that he felt it was his “duty” to name Sir Philip in Parliament as the press had been prevented by the courts from publishing his name earlier in the week.
