Berners-Lee wants better IT from financial services

Inventor of the worldwide web, has awarded the world of finance a B+ for its use of technology and the Internet

Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the worldwide web, has awarded the world of finance a B+ for its use of technology and the Internet.

Berners-Lee told a Q&A session after his keynote speech at the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association conference: "I can download statements of my chequing and savings accounts around the world, but not my mortgage and wire transfers. Nor can I download any data on my pensions - an adviser might be able to, but I cannot."
