US law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom is mulling the introduction of a salaried tier of partners, amid fierce competition for talent among top law firms.

The world’s top law firm by revenue Kirkland & Ellis makes extensive use of so-called salaried or non-equity partners which have helped drive explosive revenue and profit growth at the firm in recent years.
