Skandia fails to find a new chairman

Skandia, the troubled Swedish financial services firm, admitted yesterday that it has failed to find a new chairman, but will propose six new directors to the board at extraordinary general meeting on January 28.

Björn Björnsson, current interim chairman, says he will now continue until the annual general meeting (AGM) on April 15, but no longer. Skanida has less than three months for find a replacement.
