Slaughter and May has upped pay and introduced a new work-life balance code as part of a post-pandemic revamp of junior working practices.

A package of measures has been introduced following a review of junior lawyer working practices which the firm had branded the “associate code”, on top of pay hikes for newly qualified lawyers to £115,000 from £107,500
