SmartStream Technologies, the reconciliation and exception management systems developer, has acquired US-based developer of corporate actions solutions Effective Solutions for an undisclosed sum.

A privately held company, Effective Solutions develops both corporate actions and asset servicing software. Its clients include State Street, Bank of Tokyo, Daiwa Securities Trust and First Options of Chicago.
