SmartStream Technologies, a systems provider, has made two appointments to build its team following the acquisition of Connextive, the financial messaging and business process management firm, earlier this month.

Tim Collins, former principal of the professional services division at Mercator, a business integration company, will head up SmartStream's professional services division for the newly acquired products.
