MarketWatch: The slightly higher price for Snap’s much-anticipated initial public offering, set at $17 Wednesday night, is evidence of strong demand for the ephemeral messaging company, and that demand could send the price much higher in Thursday’s trading debut.

Don’t take any of that as confidence in Snapchat’s parent company or its future as a publicly traded company, however.
