French bank Société Générale has made nine appointments to its mergers and acquisitions team as part of its increasing push into the sector, following the reorganisation of its investment bank.
The bank has recruited a number of bankers, including Stefan Goetz, the former head of the European M&A business for banking and insurance clients at Credit Suisse, and ex-3i executive Axel Malkomes as head of global healthcare, according to a company statement.
