A property investor with an eye on the UK's "deepening housing crisis" aims to buck the trend of failed London listings of real estate investment trusts with an initial public offering next month.
Horizon Housing REIT wants to raise £125m through an IPO to invest in affordable and social housing, the firm said in a stock exchange statement. The REIT will issue 56.25 million shares to East Riding Pension Fund and take on a portfolio of 551 properties.
