Societe Generale has poached a key executive from French rival Natixis to co-head its investment bank, part of a raft of senior changes unveiled by new chief executive Slawomir Krupa.

Anne-Christine Champion, who currently co-leads corporate and investment banking at Natixis, will join SocGen in May as co-head of global banking and investor services, according to a statement. She will lead the unit alongside Alexandre Fleury, a former Bank of America equities trader who has co-headed its markets division since June 2021.
