Societe Generale has signed up to the Women in Finance Charter, making it the latest big company to commit to improving gender diversity in its UK operations.

The French bank is a late entry to a list of large financial services organisations committed to the government-led initiative, which includes BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley.
