Sofaer Capital regroups after two quit for Frontpoint

Giampaolo Guarnieri and James Soutar have quit as partners of Sofaer Capital, the hedge fund specialist.

They joined Sofaer Capital in February 2002 when Guarnieri agreed to manage Sofaer's Japan long/short fund, currently worth $250m, and Soutar to manage an Asian long/short vehicle, worth $200m.
