Softbank allocates $5bn for global internet ventures

Softbank Corporation, Japan's largest internet investor, plans to invest up to $5bn (e5.2bn) in global internet ventures and will join with partners to put more than $1bn in Europe.

It has created funds to cover the globe, including Latin America, Asia and emerging markets worldwide.
