SoftBank Group sank deeper into the red in the July to September period, as its technology investments struggled and losses piled up from the collapse of office-sharing company WeWork.

SoftBank holds a majority stake in WeWork, which earlier this week filed for Chapter 11 protection in the US due to weakness in the office market. The Japanese investment company’s cumulative losses in WeWork total $14.3bn.
