David Sola, co-head of mergers and acquisitions in Europe at Warburg Dillon Read, is to become head of the corporate finance division's wireless internet team, according to sources at the bank.

The new specialised role for the London-based Sola comes after last month's headhunting of Hartmuth Jung, the new Germany-based co-head of M&A alongside Warren Finegold, from Credit Suisse First Boston.
