Sonera denies plans to sell Deutsche Telekom stake this year

Deutsche Telekom's shares may come under less pressure as Sonera, the Finnish telecoms company, denied it plans to sell its remaining shares in the German telecoms firm before the end of the year.

Shares in Deutsche Telekom hit €16.96 ($15.49) on Tuesday, their lowest level since 1997, due to concerns about the stock overhang.
