Hedge fund manager George Soros has dropped to 15th on Forbes magazine’s list of the 400 richest Americans after entering the top 10 for the first time last year.

In July last year Soros said he was going to stop managing outside money and Forbes said the move had helped boost the hedge fund manager's net worth to $22bn, moving him to seventh on the list last year. On this year's Forbes 400 list Soros has fallen to 15th.
