Mark Sorrell and Anthony Gutman, two rising stars at Goldman Sachs tipped for promotion by Financial News last month, have been named as co-heads of UK investment banking at the firm.
They replace Julian Metherell, who is leaving to start an investment firm with Tony Haywood, the ex-chief executive of oil giant BP.
