South Africa triumphed this year in the Securities Institute's 11th Annual Financial Ashes tournament against the English defending champions, winning match and tournament outright.

The contest, between teams of City of London employees representing England, Australia and South Africa, raised £20,000 for charities in the three countries, much of it at a raffle and auction conducted at the dinner following the tournament.
