Private equity deals in Spain reached a record volume of €6bn in the first nine months of 2019, according to a report by Capital & Corporate, a Madrid-based PE and M&A information provider.

The report found that there were 22 deals that exceeded €100m of equity and backed primarily by international GPs — about 80% — made up the bulk of the investments by value.
