Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, the Spanish exchange group which had been planning to float by the end of this year, has delayed the issue until at least next year due to "legal complications".

The exchange group comprises the local derivatives exchange, Meff; the Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia stock exchanges; the local clearing and settlement depositary; and a commodity and a fixed income exchange.
