Spargo looks to a second flotation

After being bought up by an American company, Spargo Consulting was eventually reacquired by its founder after a spate of management disagreements

Tony Spargo has a symbiotic relationship with the City of London. His businesses have made millions out of serving financial houses - and some of them have done not too badly out of floating, selling and buying back his businesses for him. The story is not over yet: a second flotation is a distinct possibility before long.

Spargo's work is by no means confined to the financial sector, for he provides the same sort of IT consultancy as Logica or FI, working for clients such as BT, Hilton, Rank Xerox and Esso as well as Bank of America, State Street Bank and Trust and Standard Life.
