Well-heeled society-regulars-turned authors including Robert Sackville West, Selina Hastings and Mark Girouard, were celebrating yesterday after scooping prizes at the second annual Spear's Book Awards, sponsored by Citi Private Bank at the Criterion restaurant in London's Piccadilly.

Authors and celebrity judges from the worlds of literature, finance and society were in attendance as prizes were given out for categories which included financial history of the year, financial book of the year, biography of the year, family and social histories of the year, illustrated book of the year and novel of the year.
