Cyrus Ardalan is to retire as Barclays vice chairman at the end of this month.

Ardalan announced he is to retire as chair of the International Capital Markets Association on Thursday during the trade body's annual conference, with Spencer Lake, global head of capital financing at HSBC and deputy chair of ICMA, set to replace him in that role.
