Michael Spinks, the rated strategist, has joined Investec Asset Management as a member of its multi-asset team following his departure from Schroders, which as reported by Financial New yesterday.

Spinks will lead Investec's multi-asset operation in the UK, working alongside global leader Philip Saunders. Domenico Ferrini, co-investment chief, said: "We are delighted to welcome Michael's experience and insight to our team."
