Eliot Spitzer, New York state Attorney General, claims the mutual fund industry is much more rife with corruption than he imagined when he started his investigation into illegal trading.

Spitzer expressed shock at how the industry has crumbled under scrutiny in an interview after being voted Financial News' Personality of the Year by European investors.
