Sports Capital Partners, a specialist private equity firm targeting sports, media, leisure, lifestyle and entertainment, is launching ESPN Classic Sport with ESPN, the US sports broadcaster owned by Disney.

Classic Sport will be a network of European Sports Channels dedicated to the greatest moments in sports history. TWI, the programme-producing arm of IMG, the talent management and sports marketing group group, will provide content.
