Shares in the music streaming giant Spotify began trading comfortably above expectations on Tuesday in an unusual listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
Shares changed hands at $165.90 a piece in early trading, above the so-called "reference price" of $132 provided by the exchange. The 12:44 p.m eastern time open was, however, an unusually late start for a NYSE-listed stock. The shares later dipped around 3%.
