Klaus Zumwinkel’s role as a non-executive director of Morgan Stanley has come under the spotlight following his resignation as chairman of Deutsche Telekom and chief executive of Deutsche Post earlier this month over allegations of tax evasion.

Zumwinkel is one of hundreds of people in Germany under investigation for tax evasion but no charges have been filed against him.
