Fees from passive business are low and the search is on for more profitable outlets

State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) has started to bang the drum for its UK and European active processes after achieving outperformance over one, three and five years.

The process is led by Suzanne Willumsen, who aims to captivate stock price deviations from fair value by using a computer-driven model.
