Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB) has recruited three corporate brokers from Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in the latest defections from the equity capital markets division at the Swiss bank.

Ed Matthews and Andrew Seaton are joining SSSB as directors, while Simon Alexander joins as vice president. They all join SSSB in the early summer. The three were part of CSFB's 19-strong team of corporate brokers led by Tom Reid. The brokers sit within CSFB's European equity capital markets (ECM) business that employs 60 people.
