Emmanuel Rodocanachi, former adviser to two French prime ministers, has joined Schroder Salomon Smith Barney as a senior corporate adviser to help the bank develop its French operations.

Rodocanachi, formerly an adviser to French prime ministers Pierre Messmer and Jacques Chirac, is working within the investment banking division, and is closely co-ordinating with Marc Vincent, chairman of SSSB France.
