Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB) has won the mandate to lead the initial public offering of Repower Systems, a wind energy firm, in its first Neuer Markt deal for two years.

The last IPO the bank did on the Neuer Markt was the float of Adcon Telemetry, a wireless service firm, in March 2000. The firm made €140m ($121m) in profits in 2001.
